Today's Words To Live By Everyday

I am reminding myself everyday to always try new things.  Fear will always to to stop me. Being tired will try to stop me from be persistent in reaching my goals.

Just try. It doesn't hurt to try. Most of the time trying is absolutely free.

Try your best and if something doesn't work out then revise your plan of action.

Believe in yourself and try.

Have A Happy Blessed Healthy And Prosperous New Year!

A calming picture of an ocean wave and sandy beach in Myrtle Beach, SC.

It is a new year and time for a new start. Treat everyday as a new beginning blessed with positive change .

I think of the ocean and the sand, as having a give and take relationship.

Each new day (the sand) has to endure the power and debris the ocean (life) throws at it. The ocean is relentless in it's purpose to crash waves onto the sandy shores.

Life is always putting us through changes that are either going to break you or build you into a stronger wiser person.

The sand in this picture has been swept clean by the ocean. Each new day will always have it's problems. Think of the next day as an opportunity to start fresh and not hold on to the negative past.

Hope is never lost as long as you are willing to put forth the effort to move forward towards finding positive solutions.

As tiny as a grain of sand is, somehow every day it survives the daily pounding of the surf. One day it's on the beach then next day it is one the ocean floor. In either place it can overcome and survive.

The clean sand left by the ocean is a clean slate much like a new year full of new days.

We all must use each precious day to it's greatest potential.

Have a happy wonderful new year!

Everyday Is A Beautiful Day - Create Something New

This is a dogwood tree in my backyard. Each year I watch it bud, bloom and then drop it's leaves. Every year  it will go through the seasons of life.

The lesson this beautiful  tree teaches me is that everything has a season and a time. We have to go through things in order to move to the next steps in our lives. Sometimes it will be easy and sometimes things will difficult. This is the way life has always been since the beginning of time.

Expecting every day to be a good day without any problems is very naive. Hard times make us stronger and appreciate the good times. I have learned so many valuable lessons during my hard dark times. But the biggest lesson is to never stop moving forward. Life is going to go forward whether you are want it to or not.

Being creative and inspired helps me to stay excited about every new day. I get such a burst of energy when I'm writing, drawing or painting. Being an artist can be a blessing and a curse but as long as I stay inspired to create something new, life is amazing. I learned the hard way to accept myself as an artist or I will feel empty and depressed.

Everyday is a new chance to start over. Start fresh and look for new creative ways to deal with something you want to change in your life. Never give up. The only way to fail is to stop trying.

What did you create today?

Everyday is a chance for a New Beginning

Two daffodils in my backyard

These flowers has bloomed every year since I was a little girl. I remember stepping on it while playing in my back year. But it didn't seem to mind. For decades this plant has broken through the earth again and again to rise up and live the best it can for as long as it can.
Daffodil

This year, I see this beautiful yellow flower as a survivor. It is a lot stronger than it looks. I am inspired to live my life the year this flower lives. I shouldn't let life's troubles and set backs stop me from knowing my purpose and rise to bloom again and again.

Have an amazing day everybody.
